Direct marketing - think bigger

There are many ways to deploy direct marketing effectively and our advice as a DM agency is to consider executing ideas across a variety of media, integrated to create a single campaign. Postal and email direct marketing are the two most commonly integrated, with other campaigns also employing social media, PR and advertising – both on and off line.

Regardless of the media to be used, the guiding principles for creating a successful campaign remain the same and in our direct marketing experience, it’s wise to have a clear focus from the outset:

  • Why are you doing the campaign?
  • What are the objectives of the campaign?
  • How will you judge its success?
  • What are your audiences’ motivations for buying this product or service?
  • What can you offer them as an irresistible reason to engage with you?
