

BEA Systems is a world leader in enterprise infrastructure software. Delivering some of the industry’s most advanced SOA-based software solutions, BEA Systems is a household name amongst many of the FTSE 100 companies.
A hard hitting campaign to create awareness of the possibilities afforded through the second phase of virtualisation within BT. The campaign needed to reach executives at the highest level within BT and to recruit affiliates within the company who could further spread the word.
A creative play on the use of the ‘ingredients’ needed to fully illustrate the power of virtualisation. Using Gordon Ramsay as the hero, the offer of a meal at his restaurant at Claridges provided the reward for responding. The creative gave the ‘virtualisation’ story in the form of a recipe book incorporating the invitation, and one of Gordon Ramsay’s recipe books was included in the package.
An extremely successful response from within BT with senior executives at the highest level signing up to the dinner invitation almost immediately. The campaign was so successful it was due to be rolled out to other accounts within BEA.
